A quick Q&A with Product Manager, Jack Denman

What’s your role at QuantSpark and where do you sit within the organisation?

I am a Product Manager within the Product team, and I'll be heading up the Retail function within the team.

What did you do before you worked at QuantSpark and where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

I was an Associate Product Manager at a Blockchain startup, focusing on B2C phone applications for improving security using Blockchain technology. Over the next 5 years' I'm looking to grow my PM skills and move into a more senior role managing a larger retail team of Product Managers.

What advice would you give to someone on their first day at QuantSpark?

I'd say be humble. There is a lot to learn, and the rate of learning increases rapidly. Also, there's a lot of people who know more than you so understanding who to go to and being willing to absorb information for the first 3 months. 

What advice would you give your younger self?

Be willing to try new things! There's a lot of different jobs out there and it's good to work out what you want to do before you commit your whole career to it.
