The role
As our People and Talent Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall people strategy of QuantSpark. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, attracting and hiring exceptional candidates, you’ll get involved in employee onboarding, and play a part in various people and culture programs. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective job postings.
- Conduct reference checks and extend job offers.
- Assist with the development and implementation of people and culture programs, such as employee engagement initiatives.
- Support the onboarding and orientation of new hires to ensure a positive and seamless experience.
- Assist with various HR-related administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, data entry, and employee file maintenance.
- Manage the office environment, including ordering supplies, coordinating with facilities providers, and ensuring a well-organised and welcoming workspace.
- Coordinate and arrange team events, meetings, and other activities.
Requirements
- You have a proactive, can-do attitude, are keen to pitch in, and get involved in helping scale this exciting organisation.
- You are a fast learner, with a desire to progress and take on new challenges.
- At least 3 years of experience in a people and talent-focused role, preferably in a fast-paced, growing organisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Proficient in using HR software and technology, including applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
