A quick Q&A with Analytics Manager, Peter Agorioge

What’s your role at QuantSpark and where do you sit within the organisation?

I am an Analytics Manager at QuantSpark and I sit in the Analytics team.

What did you do before you worked at QuantSpark and where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

Before QuantSpark, I worked within the data science team for a management consultancy firm called PA Consulting. In 5 years, I see myself in the same space I am in currently (where strategy, analytics and innovation meet) working for global corporations delivering long-lasting change.

Who have you learnt the most from at QuantSpark so far? What have you learnt from them?

Katherine Stone: She is a great people manager and an incredibly personable and approachable Analytics team lead. This has cultivated a strong team ethic sand culture within the QS Analytic team which support our go-to-market efforts, our client delivery and in fostering a healthy work environment.

Who inspires you?

Anyone who beats the status quo and/or bucks the curve. My main inspirations include: Barack Obama, Steve Jobs, Jay-Z, Chinua Achebe and my Dad.

What’s your favourite way to spend a day off?

Nothing at all (chilling) or playing basketball.
