A quick Q/A with Analyst, Siddarth Nandalan

What’s your role at QuantSpark and where do you sit within the organisation?

I’m an Analyst in the Analytics team.

What did you do before you worked at QuantSpark and where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

Prior to joining QuantSpark, I had just completed my Masters degree in Business Analytics at UCL, making this my first proper job! I’m enjoying the role so I see myself continuing in analytics consulting in 5 years’ time.

What do you love about your job?

The team I get to work with is definitely a highlight! Everyone is so supportive with great enthusiasm. Coupled with the range of projects you get to work on, with a good amount of responsibility, it makes QS a great place to work.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don’t be afraid to put your ideas across or make mistakes. You can always learn from any failure and the majority of the time people are accepting of additional viewpoints.

Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?

One place on my bucket list is definitely the Maldives it literally looks like a mini paradise over there!
